Look Closely At Hagan's Campaign Ads
Just a word of advice to those who see a Kay Hagan ad on TV: Look at the writing at the bottom of the end of the ad. It will show you who paid for that ad.

Most of Kay’s ads are paid for by “The Democrat Senatorial Committee” and others by unions such as the NCAE. Take what they say as a grain of salt and worthless content. Be reminded that Kay Hagan cannot run on her accomplishments because there are none. Consider the lies about keeping your doctor/Obamacare fiasco, high gas prices, high electricity costs and rising grocery prices.

Do you think Kay has done her job? No. Vote her out.

NCGOP Statement on U.S. Senate Debate
Claude E. Pope, Jr., Chairman of the North Carolina Republican Party, issued the following statement after tonight’s U.S. Senate debate between Thom Tillis and Kay Hagan:

“For the last six years, Kay Hagan has been a rubber-stamp for President Obama’s agenda in Washington and that failed, partisan record stood in clear contrast tonight to Thom Tillis’ leadership and proven accomplishments for North Carolina. [...]

As First Debate Looms, Hagan Running From Her Failed Record
The first U.S. Senate debate is on Wednesday, September 3, 2014, between Thom Tillis and Kay Hagan, but the White House has already determined where they stand on this race: to keep the president and his disastrous policies as far away from North Carolina as possible. It’s the only way to save Kay Hagan’s floundering reelection campaign, and gives Hagan the opportunity to walk on the debate stage to once again falsely claim she is ‘moderate’ despite the fact she has supported the president’s agenda 95% of the time. [...]
Federal Judge rules NC election law changes can proceed

North Carolina’s November election can be held under a new voting law approved by Republican lawmakers, a federal judge ruled Friday. The law is considered one of the toughest in the nation and the groups challenging it say it will suppress minority voter turnout.

U.S. District Court Judge Thomas D. Schroeder denied a motion seeking to hold the November vote under old rules, saying the groups failed to show they would suffer “irreparable harm.”

“In the absence of the clear showing for preliminary relief required by the [...]

Will Roy Cooper Do His Job?
...But even more outrageous than federal judges playing God with the definition of marriage is our Attorney General Roy Cooper who has decided that he no longer wants to do the job he was elected to do—defend the laws and Constitution of North Carolina. [...]
Obama’s school lunch crusade:
A disaster for NC
Championed by First Lady Michelle Obama and passed in 2010, The Healthy, Hunger-Free Kids Act was designed to provide more nutritious school meals for public school children.   In North Carolina, this well-intentioned piece of legislation has been a catastrophe, sort of like New Coke. [...]

Representative Virginia Foxx speaking at January's meeting of the Davie County Republican Pary.
Congresswoman Virginia Foxx (R-NC) released the following statement after President Obama’s speech in Raleigh.
“In today’s speech, President Obama talked about ways to reach the goal of an economy that produces good jobs for all Americans who want to work. I share this goal, and hope the President will follow through on his rhetoric with action. Unemployed Americans want to get back to work, and [...]
ObamaCare Is Hurting More People Than It Is Helping
Every day across America, thousands of people are learning that Obama's promise that "if you like your plan, you can keep it" was a lie. Over 4.2 million Americans have received cancellation notices from their insurance companies. That's more than one person for every second that the ObamaCare exchanges have been online. Take a look at the map.[...]
NC Attorney General Refuses to Stand Against Malicious Federal Prosecution of Private Gun Sellers
But there is one outrageous exception, one state that plainly should have signed this brief but didn’t: North Carolina. We’d like to think our state’s highest-ranking lawyer would oppose the blatant overreaching of Barack Obama and his ATF minions. But apparently, Attorney General Roy Cooper would rather side with Michael Bloomberg and his anti-gun cronies than join a majority of states in a bipartisan coalition defending gun owner rights. [...]
Kay Hagan: “I Would Vote For It Again”
Last week, when Kay Hagan was asked whether she still supports Obamacare, she responded, “I would vote for it again.” It’s astonishing.  Even with many Americans shocked to discover their premiums are skyrocketing, and nearly half a million North Carolinians receiving cancellation notices, Hagan would still do it all over again. Additionally, a national fact checker has [...]
Kay Hagan lied to North Carolinians over and over again to justify casting the deciding vote for Obamacare. No wonder she won PolitiFact's "Lie of the Year" award. Be sure to "SHARE" this video with your friends.
Liberal Claims Get Reality Check
For North Carolina liberals intent on recovering some political power in Raleigh, a funny thing happened on the way to a quorum: reality intruded on their most-cherished claims about the two biggest issues in North Carolina politics.
Well, okay, liberals probably don’t find it funny.
What are those two biggest issues? [...]
Rush Limbaugh: Wait Until the Other Obamacare Shoe Drops in 2014
On Wednesday, conservative radio host Rush Limbaugh warned listeners that problems caused by Obamacare are only going to get worse. He argued that when the other Obamacare “shoe” drops in 2014 — when the law starts impacting [...]
Rep. Julia Howard Honored with League's Community Champion Award
The N.C. League of Municipalities (NCLM) this week awarded Representative Julia Howard its Community Champion Award for her work on behalf of cities and towns. Rep. Howard was on hand at the League’s Annual Conference in Hickory to accept the award. In addition to the hundreds of municipal officials in [...]
FOXX: Debt Crisis Demands Leadership, President Must Commit to Honest Spending Reforms
Congresswoman Virginia Foxx (R-NC) issued the following statement tonight after the House of Representatives passed legislation to increase the federal debt limit and authorize short-term funding for the federal government. "North Carolinians expect [...]
